Post the U-19 World Cup, Rasheed debuted in first-class cricket for Andhra Pradesh in the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy on February 24, 2022 . He also made appearances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the same year. Although he didn't feature in any matches that season, CSK retained him for the subsequent year.
